John Leighton Beezer, in this life, is an improvising guitar-player from Seattle. He may be best known for his appearance in the movie HYPE!, a work of dystopian speculative fiction in which the music scene in Seattle suddenly becomes the most important thing on Earth. Beezer appears in HYPE! demonstrating the difference between punk & grunge.

JLB's seminal non-rehearsing non-songwriting primordial-grunge-band The Thrown-Ups ... well, they existed. And may do so again. And when they did and if they do, they have and will often include(d) Mark Arm and Steve Turner from Mudhoney, and they make a RACKET. And throw shellfish at you.

Other all-improvised projects have included — El Grande Conquistador (with Whiting Tennis), Snoose Junction (with 5-Track, John Foss, Evan Strauss), & The Klau (Los Angeles jam collective with members of The Walking Faces & Avi Buffalo, recordings to appear later in 2012 if we make it that far). Most recent release = Grow In Shit Or Go Blind, with Los Angeles psychprov trio Chocolate Covered Fungus.
